- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with SeaBird Electronics ("SeaBird") for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of proposed contract is to purchase SeaBird Seacat propfiler temperature depth recorder and accessories. SeaBird only known source that manufactures a conductivity instrument, temperature-depth unit and a CTD unit. Seabird also only known source with 8MB memory, -5 to +35 degrees C temperature range, 0 to 90 mS/cm, 1,000 meter depth capbility, and cage for physical protection. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.
