- NA This is a synopsis performed in accordance with FAR 5.207. The Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District intends to compete an order for, six (6) vertical axial water pumps with electric pumps for Wahpeton, ND capable of discharging no less than 10,000 ga llons per minute. The order will also entail the delivery and installation services. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and equipment required to manufacture, test, deliver, install, the new pumps. A Firm Fixed Price order will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR part 13.5 and commercial procedures FAR part 12 for this effort. The estimated period of performance is 180 days. The proposed Request for Quotation wil l utilize Full and Open Competition. There will be no Small Business Set-Asides. However, a price evaluation preference is anticipated for Hubzone small business concerns in accordance with clause 52.219-3. The Contracting Officer has determined the NAI CS code for this effort to be 333996 and small business size standard is 500 employees The Request for Quotation and all documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet, on or about 19 July 2002 at the St. Paul District's Website , https://mvpwww.mvp.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp . Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting a quotation. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the release of the Reques t for Quotation and amendments (if applicable). Potential interested parties will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
