- Description
- The Umatilla National Forest is issuing a solicitation for Road 45 Arches. Contractor shall provide necessary equipment and personnel to construct a (blind) drain, to remove an existing culvert, and/or install a new culvert within a live, intermittent or ephemeral stream or as a ditch relief culvert within the confines of a road right of way. This work consists of excavation, placement of bedding and backfill, compaction of material, assembly of culverts, bans and gaskets when specified, and reestablishment of the roadbed to the lines and grades specified in the plan. Often this work will also require the haul and placement of geotextile, crushed aggregate, or riprap, when shown in the plans. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website on or about July 22 or you may request a hardcopy solicitation from the Umatilla National Forest by mail, phone, or fax.
