Description
This is a notice of procurement of Transition Calibration Adapters (TCAs) for the Consolidated Automated Support Systems (CASS) High Power Device Test Subsystem (HPDT), part of the High Power ATE Offload to CASS (HPOC) Program. The TCAs are required by the Test Article Preparation Department (TAPD) onboard the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. The TCAs will be used by TAPD during the calibration of the Calibration Adapters used on the HPDT system to interface, connect, load, and channel RF/Microwave electromagnetic energy and signals to and from the Calibration Standards and the HPDT. There are eight individual components per group of TCAs, which shall be as described in the specification in the solicitation, when issued. All bidders shall provide all eight components in the numbers specified; partial offers are not acceptable. A firm-fixed-price type commercial contract is contemplated using competitive proposals under a 100% small business set-aside as the procurement method. The appropriate NAICS Code is 334515 (size standard 500 employees). To be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, the successful contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To register, apply through the Internet at http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released via the Internet on or about 26 July 2002. The solicitation and amendments, if any, will be available electronically at http://www.navair.navy.mil/business/ecommerce/index.cfm.
