The US Army Research Laboratory has a requirement for operation and maintenance of facilities, systems and equipment in the Physical Sciences Laboratory facility, located in Adelphi, MD. Routine maintenance is required on Life safety and water treatment equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems and equipment. The PSLF is a 370,000 s quare foot laboratory facility, consisting of laboratory space, office space, and clean rooms. It is anticipated that routine operation and maintenance will be contracted for on a fixed price per month basis, while repairs and any improvements will be acc omplished via a Time and Materials line item. This procurement will be conducted using Full and Open Competition, and the applicable NAICS code is 56121. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by this agency. The solicit ation exists in electronic format only and will be available on http://w3.arl.army.mil/contracts/kosol.htm. The solicitation will be available on or about 15 days from the date of this notice. The solicitation will close on 30 Aug 02 at 1400.
