Description
The response date for submission of proposals is changed to 15 August 2002. All prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend the site visit to be conducted on 24 July 2002 at 0900hrs, at the 11th Contracting Sq., Bldg 5681, 2nd Floor Auditorium, Bolling AFB DC. All offerors who would like to attend the site visit must submit their request for Base Passes in writing, via email (POC: kelli.wright@bolling.af.mil) NO LATER THAN Friday, 19 July 2002. Requests must include company name and all personnel planning to attend site visit, to include social security numbers. NO late submissions or additional personnel (add-ons) will be accepted after 19 July 02 due to base security requirements. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to perform Military Family Housing Maintenance at Bolling AFB, Washington DC. Work includes, but is not limited to: Service Calls, Change of Occupancy Maintenance, Recurring/Preventive Maintenance, Appliance and Equipment Maintenance, Playground Maintenance, and Bolling Home Store (Self-Help) operation. The base period of performance will be from time of award through September 30, 2003, with four one-year option periods. A contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the Statement of Work and provides the best value to the Government based upon evaluation of past performance and price. An award may be made to a firm offering other than the lowest price. The Government intends to award without discussions therefore, offeror's initial proposals should contain the offeror's best terms. This requirement is set aside exclusively for SMALL BUSINESS. The applicable NAICS Code is 235990 and the corresponding size standard is $12 million. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 01 July 2002. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posed on the Electronic Posting System/Federal Business Opportunities at www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be furnished. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and downloading the solicitation, amendments, and all documents. Interested offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to receive a contract award. Information for CCR can be accessed on the Internet at www.ccr.gov or via telephone at 1-888-227-2423.
