Description
Truth or Consequences - Williamsburg Arroyos Watershed Floodwater Retarding Structure 3C (FRS-3C), Floodwater Diversion 2 (FD-2), and Outlet 3 Phase III. (The project has also been referred to the Morgan Street Project.) This phase consists of the construction of the remaining elements of the Floodwater Diversion 2 riprap lined channel from I-25 to the Site 3C basin structure, including the construction of a soil-cement overflow structure and three reinforced concrete drop structures. The project also includes the construction of the remaining elements of Site 3C, including the construction of a reinforced concrete baffled apron chute structure, a soil-cement auxiliary spillway, and completing the basin structure. The final portion of the project consists of the remaining reinforced concrete elements of Outlet 3, Reach 3, including the construction of a 697 feet long box conduit and a 195 feet long rectangular open channel. Approximately 1,119,000 cubic yards of common excavation and 53,000 cubic yards of rock excavation will be required. Approximately 161,300 cubic yards of zoned earthfill and approximately 980 cubic yards of zoned drainfill will be placed. Approximately 3,050 cubic yards of concrete and 661,200 pounds of reinforcing steel will be used to construct drop structures, a baffled apron chute structure, a twin-cell box culvert and an open channel immediately upstream of Broadway Avenue. Approximately 29,100 cubic yards of loose rock riprap and approximately 4,300 cubic yards of soil-cement will be placed in FD-2 and FRS-3C. This solicitation is unrestricted, price range is between $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. Solicitation package is estimated to be uploaded on 3 Aug 2002.
