- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to extent an effort for contractor support of the Encounter Data Initiative that began in 1999. This extension will cover the period August 03, 2002 ? November 30, 2002 and will allow the contractor staff supporting this effort to complete the final phases of the Encounter Data Initiative for CMS. The procurement will be conducted under other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). If no affirmative written documentation is received within (15) calendar days of this synopsis, CMS will proceed with negotiations to issue a GSA schedule award to Computer Sciences Corporation on August 03, 1001.
