Warren AFB, WY 82005 Description This announcement constitutes an official pre-solicitation notice. The intent is to notify potential contractors of the Laundry Services acquisition (NAIC code 812320 and standard size $4,000,000--effective 22 Feb 02). The contractor will provide Non-Personal services to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials and transportation necessary to perform Base/Hospital Laundry Services for F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The contractor shall receive, account for, process, and return all organizational and individual items tendered for cleaning. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the JACHO-Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations Regulation. This acquisition will be a Performance-Based Service Contract which we will structure around "what" is required as opposed to "how" the contractor should do the work. It is the Government's intent to award a one-year basic contract with three one-year option periods. The successful offeror will be selected based on a Best Value Decision, with the intent of utilizing Price/Performance Tradeoff Procedures. The anticipated RFP issuance date is 12 Jul 2002.
