- This solicitation was previously advertised with an open date of July 2. It is being amended to change the Opening date to July 19, 2002. The contractor will be responsible for mechanized construction of two segments for the Rim Trail located on the Paulina Ranger District, east of Prineville, Oregon. Work consists of clearing and grubbing, excavation, construction of drain dips, water bars, rock cairns, switchbacks, and climbing turns, armoring approaches for live streams, repair and armoring of wet or washed out areas and logging out. The Government's estimate is based on the use of power tools and mechanized trail building equipment for construction. Price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Alternative pay protection is required and is located in Section I of the solicitation. The solicitation may be retreived by downloading it on fedbizops.gov. There are 15 files to download. This project is 100% set aside for small business.
