- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Governmentwide Policy, Office of Acquisition Policy, releases the draft solicitation for the re-engineering of the FPDS, entitled Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG) (Also called FAMIS). Offerors are requested to review the draft solicitation and provide comments and recommendations by e-mail to the GSA Contracting Officer, Michael O. Jackson, by noon, July 8, 2002. Mr. Jackson's e-mail address is Michael.Jackson@gsa.gov. In conjunction with this draft solicitation, GSA plans to hold a Day for Industry on July 11, 2002 from 8:00 am until 12.00 noon, with registration beginning at 8:00 am. This Day for Industry will be held in the GSA Auditorium at the GSA Building at 18th & F Street, Washington, DC. Please see the FPDS-NG website at www.acqnet.gov/egov/famis/famis2.html to pre-register for the Industry Day and for the agenda, times, and registration form.
