- Description
- Notice of intent to award a contract to District International Trucks Inc. for Contractor Logistical Support (CLS) for the Aviation Refueling Capability (ARC), which shall include CLS Repairables, and the procurement of Class IX Parts. The contract will be for a base period of one year with four one-year options. This proposed contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received that warrants a competitive procurement a contract will be awarded to District International Trucks Inc. as stated above without further notice. The cutoff date for responses is 11 July 2002. All interested parties should submit their response via Fax to Lou Chavers at FAX 229-639-6793.
