- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to issue a solicitation for air operations and administrative support at Naval Base Ventura County, Pt. Mugu, CA. This CBD announcement is the third and final announcement posted regarding this requirement. The services, which are currently provided by government personnel, were announced for commercial activity cost comparison study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 in July 2000. If government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. The applicable NAICS code is 488119. It is anticipated the contract type will be firm fixed price with a 60 day transition period, 1 base year and 4 option years. This RFP is based on full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The Government will not post an electronic bidders list for this requirement. Int erested parties are invited to submit "Notices of subcontracting opportunities" in accordance with FAR 5.206 or obtain potential bidders information from other commercially available resources. Only electronic copies of the solicitation and supporting documentation will be provided. Contractors must sign up with the Contractor Centralized Registration (CCR) prior to receiving a contract.
