- Description
- The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, license and supervision for ?Consolidate Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacies?, Project Number 544-311, located at the W.J.B. Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to general demolition, general construction, steel, plumbing, HVAC and electrical. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated dollar value of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated solicitation issue date is July 12, 2002. One (1) organized pre-bid site visit is scheduled for July 25, 2002. Participants will meet at 9AM EST at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Building 22, Room 3B105, Columbia, SC 29209. It is highly recommended that all interested parties attend this pre-bid site visit. Bid Opening Date: August 15, 2002 at 3PM EST. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 233320 with a small business size standard of $28.5 million. Solicitation (Bid) documents consisting of the Solicitation, Specifications, and Contract Forms for submitting a bid may be downloaded without charge from the following web site: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ on or about July 12, 2002. The Solicitation, Specifications and Contract Forms are in Microsoft Word format. No hard copies of the Solicitation, Specifications, or Contract Forms will be provided. Drawings will not be posted with the solicitation. Business concerns may request one compact disk that includes one set of drawings in TIF format. Submit your written request for the compact disk to the issuing office. Return of the compact disk is not required. Bidders should allow 5 working days after receipt of their request by the issuing office for reproduction, in addition to mail delivery time when requesting the drawings. As many copies of the Solicitation, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms may be made as necessary for you to submit a bid. Copies of any or all of the documents may be made at the Contractor's expense by contacting any business that has access to the web site and a plotter capable of printing the drawings. Return of the solicitation material is not required. It is recommended that interested parties enter their information in the Solicitation Mailing List at the web site referenced above. The SML is accessible at the bottom of the Solicitation Summary page by selecting ?Enter Solicitation Mailing List Application." Interested parties MUST go to the web site to obtain copies of the Bidder?s Mailing List. Individual copies of the Bidder?s mailing list WILL NOT be prepared. Amendments to the Solicitation will be posted on the referenced web site. Hard copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. By entering vendor information on the SML, potential bidders will be notified electronically of any new amendments that have been posted. Bidders are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this Solicitation. Failure to acknowledge any and all amendments WILL result in your bid being considered NON-RESPONSIVE. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Subject to availability of funds.
