- UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries is conducting a market survey to identify parties interested in submitting offers for the production of cotton khaki cloth used to manufacture swim trunks in accordance with Mil Spec MIL-DTL-29112D, dated 27 April 2000. Item: cloth, khaki, swim trunk, cotton, 60? W, 100 percent combed cotton, single ply yarn for both warp and filling, Khaki color 3729. Unicor contemplates a base year with 2 options Definite Delivery contract in anticipation of award of any solicitations resulting from this notice. Estimated quantity is 15,000 yds per year to be delivered in full 45 days after contract award. UNICOR MCS No. FAB9302. Delivery will be to: UNICOR, FCI Butner, Old North Carolina Highway 75, Butner, NC 27509. This is not a Request For Proposal. All responsible sources may submit a response within 21 calendar days of this notice.
