Description

Diamond Lake Loop Road Asphalt Overlay on the Diamond Lake Ranger District 80 miles east of Roseburg, OR; Work includes tree root removal, excavation, aggregate base and shoulder rock placement, hot bituminous asphalt overlay, and traffic marking on approximately 8 kilometers of road and adjoining intersections; option items are included for riprap work, gabion retaining walls, excavation and embankment, aggregate base, asphalt paving, traffic marking and related road repair activities; Work is to be completed by October 31, 2003; This is a Request For Proposals; in addition to price proposals Offerors are required to complete a Questionnaire; detailed Technical Proposals are not required; questionnaire elements include past performance history, technical approach, equipment capability, work sequencing, quality control and traffic control; Award evaluation criteria include technical approach and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; the project magnitude is in the range between $250,000 and $500,000 including the option items.
