- Description
- This Request for Proposal is for the rehabilitation of the Chris Park Campground Group Use Area. Effort will include: installation of an electrical system, trenching and backfilling; construction of a water system, to include, a water treatment building, plumbing, wiring, well pump installation, storage tank, piping and hydrants; construction of a picnic shelter, host area and site furnishings; construction of a volleyball court and horseshoe pits; paving of roads and parking areas; seeding of disturbed areas. The proposed contract is located at the Chris Park Campground Group Use Area in the San Juan National Forest, approximately 20 miles north of Durango, Colorado just east of US Highway 550 on FDR 791. The performance period for the proposed contract is 150 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The anticipated date for posting of the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov) is on or around July 11, 2002.
