- Description
- This Request for Proposal is for the construction of the foundations and the exterior finishing of premanufactured bunkhouses (bunkhouses will be manufactured and delivered under separate contract). Associated work includes: constructing utility systems and hookups; aggregate surfacing of parking areas and entry road; installation of sidewalks; dry stack stone retaining walls. Exterior finish work of the premanufactured bunkhouses includes: construction of dormers roofs and porch canopies; simulated stone wainscoat; siding and exterior trim; wood composite decking; asphalt shingle roofing; shutters; gutters and downspouts. The proposed contract is located at the Monument Fire Center in the Pike National Forest, approximately 1.5 miles west of Monument, Colorado on Mount Herman Road. The performance period for the proposed contract is 210 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The anticipated date for posting of the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov) is on or around July 11, 2002.
