- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure services from Advanced Graphics Equipment to modify three existing Offline Currency Inspection Systems, with an option to modify an additional system. The modifications will be made to transport portion of existing currency inspection systems currently used at the BEP. Advanced Graphics Equipment is the original manufacturer of the transports. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 15.002. See numbered note 22. The resultant purchase order will exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and the procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 shall be used. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-DEC-2000). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 24-JUN-2002.
