- THE PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2002 AT THE KETCHIKAN FEDERAL BUILDING, 648 MISSION ST., KETCHIKAN, ALASKA, ROOM 210, FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 11:00 A.M. TOLL-FREE TELECONFERENCE CALL-IN ACCESS IS ALSO AVAILABLE BY CALLING (888)390-0675. This project consists of performing multi-trade facilities construction, repair, and remodel work on Government-owned occupied and unoccupied residences, offices, warehouses, and other miscellaneous facilities in the Southeastern Alaskan communities of Juneau, Hoonah, Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangell, Ketchikan, Thorne Bay, and other smaller communities on an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery basis. The work may include the preparation of job order proposals, project scoping, cost estimating, and development of specifications and requirements in addition to performing the actual repair and remodel work. The contract term will be for 2 years from the date of award. The contract will have a guaranteed minimum of $25,000 but will not exceed $1,000,000. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about May 8, 2002. Details regarding the conference will be published in a modification to this notice. The Request for Proposals will be posted for viewing and printing to the FedBizOpps website on about April 24, 2002. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested after April 24, 2002 via FAX at 907.228.6254. FAX requests should reference the solicitation number. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal, which will be considered.
