- Description
- The Tongass National Forest is seeking Architect and Engineering services for the survey and design of approximately 23 fish passage sites within the National Forest boundary. The survey work includes surveying, setting benchmarks, clearing, collecting topographic data, data reduction, and contour map development. The design work includes field reconnaissance, discharge measurements, minor geotechnical investigation, data reduction and calculations, and complete design including site layout, production of AutoCAD drawings, obtaining Title 16 concurrences from the Alaska Department of fish & Game and development of a construction contract package from Forest Service standard specifications, special project specifications and preparation of a cost estimate. The project sites are located on the Corner Bay road system on Chichagof Island approximately 49 kilometers southeast of Hoonah, Alaska. All firms regardless of size are invited to submit one copy of SF-254 and SF-255 in response to this notice to: Contracting Officer, Federal Building, 648 Mission St., Ketchikan, AK 99901, by the close of business (4:30 p.m.) on April 15, 2002. The applicable NAICS code and small business size standard are 541330 and $4 million respectively. See Note 24 for selection criteria and general submission requirements.
