Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY FROM SMALL AND SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESSES. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND/OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. NO TELEPHONE CALLS REQUESTING A SOLICITATION WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ACKNOWLEDGED. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME, HOWEVER, A DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) IS AVAILABLE. RESPONSES SHALL NOT EXCEED 40 PAGES AND STANDARD COMPANY BROCHURES ARE NOT DESIRED. INFORMATION SHALL FOCUS ON THE CAPABILITY TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES DEFINED BELOW. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is performing a market survey to determine if small and small disadvantaged businesses possess the necessary technical capabilities to support the Office of Policy, Economics and Innovation in stimulating and promoting innovation in a variety of ways establishing pilot projects, evaluating the results of projects and other innovative efforts, analyzing the potential value of innovations for broader application, applying promising innovations on a broader scale, and providing systemic support to encourage an organizational culture that embraces innovation. You are directed to the EPA Website under the solicitation number PR-HQ-02-11865 at "www.epa.gov/oam/hpod/" for full details on this synopsis and the draft version of the SOW. The applicable NAICS Code is 541620 with a size standard of 500 employees for potential small and small disadvantaged businesses. Vendors with the capability of providing services defined in the SOW are invited to submit, in writing, sufficient information within the page limitation (40 pages) which demonstrates their ability to fulfill the requirement. Responses must demonstrate capabilities/expertise in all aspects of the SOW. Responses, including vendor's business status (e.g.: small, small disadvantaged, minority owned, 8(a) etc.) Should be mailed to the following address: US EPA, ATTN: Valoree S.
