Description
Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, CA intends to place a non-competitive commercial firm-fixed-price contract with General Electric Medical Systems for on-site and remote access service and maintenance of Government owned imaging equipment to include: GE ADVANTX Radiographic System; GE MVP Micro; GE Gamma Scintillation Camera Model 300; R& F X-Ray/Fluro Unit Model ADVANTX; GE MVP Micro Routine Room; Vascular, Cardiac, Angio System (GE ADVANTX); GE Model ADVANTX Radiographic/Fluoroscopic System; GE Senographe DMR Mammography Machine; GE Rad Room Advantx; GE Model MPH65; GE X-Ray Unit Mobile (C-Arm); GE Light Speed Plus (CT); Advantage Windows Workstations; GE Laser Camera (CT); GE Echo (MR); GE MR 1ryo (MR); GE AR 2 (MR); GE AW 3 (MR); GE MR 2CRYO (MR); GE MR2AR (MR) and GE MR2AW (MR). The equipment is located within the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA; Branch Med ical Clinic, El Centro, CA; U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, CA; Branch Medical Clinic North Island, San Diego, CA and Branch Medical Clinic Naval Training Center, San Diego, CA. The proposed contract is for a base one-year period of performance beginning 01 Oct 02 thru 30 Sep 03, with four one-year options. Pursuant to FAR 12 and under authority of FAR 6.302 (see Note 12), the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals; however, all proposals received within two weeks of this notice will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. Information received will normally be considered solely for the pu rpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on or after 01 June 1998.
