- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA proposes to procure one (1) ea Variable Speed Drive System (VSDS) for 2000 Fire Pumps. VSDS shall consists of Variable Speed Drive (4.1), Front End (4.2), Controls/Indicators for System (4.3), Electromagnetic Compatibility (4.4), and Enclosures (4.5). This solicitation will be issued as a Commerciality Item under FAR SubPart 13.5 using test procedures for certain commercial items. This procurement is Unrestricted. Solicitation can be downloaded from FedBizOpps or NECO.Navy.Mil on or about 10 Jul 02. No telephone request will be accepted. All questions must be in writing.
