Description

NA The Government proposes to modify contract DTRA01-99-C-0078 with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) on a sole source basis to extend the period of performance to 30 June 2003. This contract supports development of Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) Urban Capability. Follow on requirements are currently planned to be supported via the competitive DTRA Technology Development Integrating Contracts (TDIC). For additional information on the TDIC please go to http://tdic.dtra .mil/ and look for upcoming information under Modeling, Siumulation and Information Technologies. The present modification is for upgrading the existing HPAC for application to urban environments and the HPAC SWIFT mass consistancy wind model for urban sc enarios. It will also incorporate the HPAC/SCIPUFF uncertainty methodology into the urban upgrade and implement the new urban capability within HPAC. This will interface the new urban scale capability with the current larger scale SWIFT/SCIPUFF wind and transport/dispersion capabilities.
