- Request for Proposal # N8127020007, Repowering the National Park Service Motor Vessel OCEAN RANGER, 100 foot crew boat. Job Location is Ventura California. Vessel shall remain within one-hour automobile commute to the proximity of its duty location for the completion of all work: Channel Island National Park. The NPS requires a firm, fixed priced contract for the removal and disposal of three existing diesel engines and transmissions, two existing diesel gensets and all associated attachments including but not limited to fittings, shafts, piping, lines, gauges, instruments, wiring, fluids. Contractor shall also furnish all labor, material, expertise, supplies, tools and equipment to install three government furnished Detroit Diesel Series 60 main engines (or equivalent) with three new twin disc 5114C marine -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text
