- Description
- Work to be performed under this solicitation consists of scaffolding system design, damage coating removal, surface preparation and painting of damaged surface areas on the exterior of the 4 Penstocks at Hoover Dam. The penstocks outer diameters range in size from 13', 25', and 30'. This is not for a full repair of the exterior Penstocks just the areas that are damaged. Coating applicators must be qualified personnel of the Contractor and/or Subcontractor in that they are SSPC QP-2 Certified. This contract is for multiple years, for a base year with optional schedule items, the Government may extend the term of this contract by exercise of one option year. It is Reclamation's intent to award one base year contract for spot coatings.
