Description

NA THE PROJECT CONSISTS OF PLACING APPROXIMATELY 6834' OF SHEET PILING(PZ-22 OR SPZ-22)FIELD DOUBLED FACED WITH PATTERNED CONCRETE USING A FORM LINER, 100' OF CONCRETE 'T' WALL, 525' OF NEW EARTHEN LEVEE, AND 7600' OF 3' WIDE TOE DRAIN CONSISTING OF 12 INCH C ORRUGATED PERFORATED PVC PIPE AND AGGREGATE BACKFILL 8-16' DEEP IN STREET AND FIELD AREAS. WORK ALSO INCLUDES SEEDING OF DISTURBED AREAS AND NEW LEVEE, SPECIAL SEEDING(AFTER REMOVAL OF EXISTING FESCUE) OF APPROXIMATELY 1900' OF EXISTING LEVEE WITH WILDFLOW ERS AND NATIVE GRASSES, PLACING NATIVE TREES, AND OTHER WORK. The estimated cost range is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. The approximate issue date for plans and specifications is 15 July 2002 and bid opening date is approximately 15 August 2002. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or pri nted using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
