- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-07 effective 15 May 02. (iv) This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. NAICS CODE 334612. (v & vi) The government comtemplates awarding sole source to Motorcycle Safety Foundation for the following: Line item 0001, (VIDEO) Cars, Motorcycles and a Common Road, Cat #435 Qty. 200 EA. Line item 0002, (VIDEO) A Guide to Off-Highway Riding, Cat #448 Qty. 200 EA. Line item 0003, (VIDEO) Riding Straight, Cat #512 Qty. 200 EA. Line item 0004, Group Riding Training Kit, Cat #565S Qty. 200 EA. Line item 0005, Motorcycle Rider Course (MRC:RSS), Cat #500, Qty. 100 EA. Line item 0006, Experienced Rider Course (ERC) Instructor Guide, Cat #550, 100 EA. Line item 0007, (VIDEO) Experienced Rider Course, Cat #552, 100 EA. Line item 0008, (VIDEO) Basic Rider Course Training Aids, Cat #325, 1 EA. Line item 0009, Basic Rider Course Coach Guide, Cat #327, 1 EA. Line item 0010, The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Guide To Motorcycling Excellence, Cat #460, 200 EA. (vii) Items to be delivered by 13 July 2002.
