- Description
- Contractor shall perform non-hazardous solid waste refuse collection, transportation and disposal services for Tyndall AFB, FL in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, commercial practices and as described in the Statement of Need (SON). A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated, with a base period and seven (7) option years. This action will be 100 percent set-aside for 8(a) small business concerns. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10,500,000.00. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Trade-Off procedures, resulting in the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 26 June 2002. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors MUST register at www.eps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. A PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE/SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 16 JUL 02 AT 9:00 AM CST. PAST PERFORMANCE INFORMATION IS DUE ON 10 JUL 02.
