- Description
- The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), Immigration Services Division (ISD) is actively seeking information regarding the interest and capability of industry firms to participate in a competitive acquisition for professional services in support of the INS' Direct Mail Program at each of its five INS Service Centers (SC). The requirement includes services in the areas of Mail Operations, File Assembly, Data Collection/Capture/Scanning, Document Preparation, Fee Collection and Processing, File Operations, Word Processing, Quality Control, Project Management and Business Process Reengineering. Persons seeking benefits under Immigration and Nationality Laws submit their applications and petitions directly to INS' SCs for processing. INS currently processes approximately five (5) million applications and petitions each year. Interested vendors capable of meeting the above requirements are requested to submit information, not to exceed twenty (20) pages, describing their experience and capability. Interested vendors must describe whether or not they hold a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contract and include the pertinent the GSA Schedule contract number and duration. In addition, interested vendors are also requested to describe (within the 20 pages) information regarding their comparable and relevant past performance over the past five (5) years. The past performance submissions shall include Contract Number, Customer, Contracting Officer (name, telephone number, and fax number), Contract Value and Type, Period of Performance, and a Description of Services/Products. Proprietary data will be protected when so designated. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. Responses to this request for information are not offers and cannot be accepted to form a binding contract. The sources sought announcement is requested for information purposes only. No cost data should be submitted. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
