- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), Division of Program Development, Special Populations and Projects (DPDSPP) plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD). The contractor shall develop and implement a comprehensive plan that promote the healthy development of children and youth, fostering their resilience in the face of adversity and preventing violence. NASMHPD is uniquely capable and possess data that will assist in the development of an evidence-based infrastructure to support this requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
