- Description
- Renovation of Building 54 Shop area (Rooms 100A, 100B, and 110) to relocate NCTR Employee Health Unit from Building 5 at the National Center for Toxicological Research, Jefferson, Arkansas. The total areas consists of approximately 3,360 square feet. Renovation to include all new environmental systems and controls. Hot and cold water supplies are available from the main utility system in Building 54. New air handlers and duct work are required. All new sanitary drain system is required and will be cut into the concrete floor with the system emptying into the manhole at the rear of Building 54. Electrical work requires the furnishing and installation of all electrical wiring, systems, equipment, and accessories in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Exterior architectural modifications include the installation of a new "cut face" block wall along the existing north wall of the building extending to the north south wall of Building 53E. New front and rear entryways are required and all new interior walls and ceilings are necessary. Magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 233320. The Size Standard is $28.5 M. The estimated time for completion is 200 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. There will be a non-refundable charge of $45 for copies of the solicitation and specifications. Please make check payable to the Food and Drug Administration, note solicitation number on check. There is a pre-bid conference scheduled for May 29, 2002. Telephone and fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Sealed offers are due by 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time in Jefferson, Arkansas on the date shown above.
