- Description
- This project is provide all labor and equipment required to remodel an existing 33-foot by 35-foot storage area in a USFS warehouse into useable office space. The government will furnish most of the materials required, however, the contractor will be required to supply some miscellaneous materials to complete the project. The work consists of installation of an in-floor heating system, installation of 2"x 6" stud walls, insulation in walls/ceiling/floor, installation of a new 8'-0" ceiling utilizing BCI joists, installation of 5/8" drywall throughout, new lighting and electrical receptacles, installation of 1/2" plywood to BCI joists and exterior walls, a new entry through a common concrete block wall, installation of two windows, installation of two doors and carpeting. This acquisition is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is thus open to all businesses regardless of size. The contract time will be 60 days after the effective date of the notice to proceed. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $25,000 - $100,000. The solicitation will be uploaded to the FedBizOpps website on or about May 9, 2002. Potential quoters are requested to obtain the solicitation via the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference the solicitation number.
