- X -- The General Services Administration seeks sources for leasing existing commercial office space. Expressions of interest should include offers of approximately 16,444 to 18,088 ANSI/BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space will provide a minimum of 14,299 and maximum of 15,729 of contiguous BOMA usable square feet. A minimum of 4 reserved, on-site parking spaces should be included and a minimum 57 parking space should be available within close proximity. The lease term is for approximately 10 years and occupancy is required on or about September 15, 2002. Space should be located in a prime commercial area with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type recognized as modern Class-A office type building having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must be altered or constructed to meet the government requirements, and must be fully serviced. Streets and public sidewalks should be well maintained. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or sufficient parking should be available within two city blocks to cover employee commuting and visitor needs. Sites submitted should be within the following delineated area: East: Bonnabel Boulevard West: Severn Avenue North: Lake Pontchartrain South: Metairie Road The Government will only consider expressions of interest made by offerers with documentation of ownership or control of the offered sites. If an agent or representative makes an expression of interest, documentation of specific authority signed by the owner must be provided to qualify for consideration.
