- Description
- This acquisition is for a shot counter to be manufactured in accordance with an NSWC Crane Performance specification. A firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract covering a 5 year period will be issued. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 ? Minimum quantity 5 each, maximum quantity 40,000 each shot counting device suitable for special operations training and combat use, in accordance with the attached performance specification. Shot counter development sources are sought for the development of new items or the adaptation of NDI/COTS items that provide a count of shots through the barrel of a weapon, in accordance with the attached performance specification. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal by the closing date. Delivery for the minimum quantity will be required within 90 days after contract award and shall be F.O. B. NSWC Crane. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Proposals that are non-compliant with any area of the specification may be rejected without further consideration for award. The solicitation will be issued under full and open competition using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 with award based on best value. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency.
