- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about June 21, 2002. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work consists of the demolition of existing three tab shingle roofing and the installation of new architectural grade asphalt shingles on Bldg# 9 - Maintenance Shop and Bldg #10 - Carpenter Shop at the Maintenance Compound of Petersburg National Battlefield. Work will also include the installation of new shingles on the Equipment Storage Building - where no demolition or tear-off is required. Replacement shingles shall simulate a natural gray wood shake appearance, carry a UL Class "A" fire rating and pass the UL "997" Wind Velocity Test. They shall also carry a 40 year limited lifetime warranty and hold no less than a 110 mph/10 year wind ratin -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text
