- NA This is a set-aside for Tribal Colleges and Universities. The Department of Defense (DOD) announces the availability of the FY2002 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the DOD Instrumentation Program for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). This progr am aims to enhance science, mathematics, and engineering education programs and research capabilities at these institutions through the acquisition of equipment and instrumentation. Eligible applicants are only those Tribal Colleges and Universities found at the website: http://www.ed.gov/offices/OCR/minorityinst.html. The FY02 TCUs BAA seeks proposals for the acquisition of equipment and instrumentation in support of science, mathematics, and engineering education enhancements. Only one proposal per in stitution will be accepted. DOD funds will be awarded via grants through the Army Research Office (ARO) based on this announcement. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission. Proposals mu st be received at the ARO no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on August 22, 2002.
