Description
28th Air Armament Symposium: Transforming the Air Armament Enterprise - The Air Armament Center (AAC) and the Gulf Coast Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) are jointly hosting the 28th Air Armament Symposium at Eglin AFB, Florida on 9-10 October 2002. This annual symposium offers an outstanding opportunity to strengthen government-to-industry relationships and provides industry an understanding of future AAC business opportunities. Symposium presentations will foster an excellent exchange of information with key leaders on technical developments and acquisition issues affecting the future of air armament. Symposium presentations will also examine future warfighter requirements and the weaponization challenges of tomorrow. Industry is encouraged to share solutions, information, and ideas. This year's Symposium will be a classified forum, restricted to U.S. Government and DoD Contractors. Foreign participation is excluded. All attendees will be required to submit a valid security clearance to AAC/XP for approval. A Social/Mixer will also be held on the evening of 9 October 2002 at the Air Force Armament Museum for all registered attendees and their guests. Seating is limited and registration will be offered on a first-come basis only. Please watch FedBizOpps for future announcements for web site and on-line registration information. Attendance cost is $75 for Government and $125 for Industry personnel. After 20 September 2002, a registration fee of $100 for Government and $150 for Industry personnel will be charged.
