Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial services. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the replacement of elevator ropes and governors in Building 4550, Wilford Hall Medical Center, located on Lackland AFB Texas. Contractor shall install new ropes, governors, and other associated parts on Elevators 1, 2, 3 and 4 and perform all inspections, certifications, and tests if required in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and codes. All work shall be in accordance with Statement of Work. Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring elevators are all set to the original computer settings, including reprogramming, if required. All associated cost for computer settings and programming, if required, shall be included in this cost. Contractor shall ensure the work area is always clean and free of debris. Contractor shall ensure work is performed by trained, certified personnel. Contractor shall perform work during normal business hours, from 07:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov., as no paper copies will be issued. This solicitation will be available on or about 19 Apr 2002 using the commercial format (FAR 12). A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with an award date of on or about 20 May 2002. This acquisition will be made under 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811310. The size standard is $6.0 Million dollars in annual average gross revenue for the last three fiscal years. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency.
