- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for FLEXX upgrade maintenance and software support. In accordance with (IAW) AMS Policy 3.2.2.4 the requirement will be acquired from the original source, Databyte Corporation, 3033 King George HWY, STE 28 BC U4P 1B8 as a single source acquisition. This is a follow-on acquisition supporting the National Aeronautical Charting Office (NACO) Distribution Division. FLEXX upgrade maintenance and software support maintains NACO Automated Distribution System (ADS). The ADS is a customized commercial system, supporting the decision to procure services as a single source acquisition. FLEXX upgrade maintenance and software support is a recurring service for the ADS system. A Requirements type contract will be awarded for the basic period and one option year (from date of award through 30 Sep 2003). The estimated value of this acquisition is $114,000.
