- Description
- The National Institute on Drug Abuse intends to negotiate with the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for a slight increment to the contracted hours of effort under the subject contract. This is to recognize the additional complexity of the clinical services' research protocols conducted under the contract. These services now require additional registered nurses and research fellows and associated project and administrative support. The contract workstatement will remain unchanged; only the level of effort will be increased. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), as set forth in 6.302-1. Inherent duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in providing the required services make competition unfeasible. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
