- Description
- This notice constitutes Amendment 001 to Solicitation 2002-Q-00473 posted Jun 18, 2002. Prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this amendment. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/amendment; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation/amendment will not be issued. Offerors shall acknowledge this amendment with their offer. The initial requested upgrade for eight (8) EACH, 2x300 MHz R12K w/8MB cache for O2000, Onyx2 re-manufactured/re-certified boards is hereby expanded to allow vendors to offer alternative optional pricing for 2x400 MHz or 2x500MHz node boards in addition to pricing for the 2x300 MHz node boards listed. Trade-in discounts/credits still apply. The government reserves the right to consider performance increases of alternative offers and to make award to the responsible vendor whose offer conforming to this solicitation is considered most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. It may be considered advantageous to select higher cost items if their purchase will provide a better upgrade within budgetary constraints. The due date for submission of offers remains unchanged at 2:00 p.m., JULY 10, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a response, which shall be considered by the Agency.
