- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number F33TSW21410100, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511, with a small business standard size of 750 employees. The requirement for CLIN 0001 is as follows: Long wave infrared focal plane array units (quantity 2 ea.) Minimum 640X 480 pixels. Minimum 60 hertz frame rate at maximum pixel resolution. Preferred bandpass: 8-12 um. Acceptable bandpass: 8-10 um. Fill factor > 80%. Snap shot integration strongly preferred. Cold shield. Integrated closed-cycle cooler with cooler control electronics. FPA temperature sensor and associated analog electronics. Bad pixels< 2% of total array. Pixel size (pitch) < 30 x 30 um. FPA analog electronics: Electronics needed to deliver analog FPA signals. Electronics needed to control closed-cycle cooler. Documentation: Electronics and FPA documentation and schematics to interface to FPA and cooler dewar. Optical documentation of the FPA dewar/cooler/cold shield. These items are to be delivered FOB Destination to Eglin AFB, Florida.
