- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The proposed purchase order shall be for a period of one year. AWARD of a purchase order resulting from this solicitation IS RESTRICTED under the public health service act, section 740, part c - Training in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, General Pediatrics, Physician Assistants, General Dentistry, and Pediatric Dentistry - TO A PUBLIC OR NONPROFIT PRIVATE HOSPITAL, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE OR OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE, OR TO OR WITH A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE NONPROFIT ENTITY. The purpose of the procurement is to plan for and organize a poster session at the 31st Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Physician Assistants being held May 22-27, 2003 in New Orleans, LA.. The session shall feature the work being accomplished by HRSA funded grantees in Physician Assistant Training in Primary Care. The contractor shall develop the review criteria and guidelines for a call for presentations and for the final selection of 25 participants. It shall reimburse the 25 participants travel to the session and set up the exhibit space. It shall provide HRSA with a one page abstract for each poster presentation exhibited. Solicitation will be issued on or about July 3, 2002. The closing date will be July 31, 2002, at no later than 4:00 p.m. local prevailing time.
