- WE HAVE EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY WITH RECEIVING ELECTRONIC MESSAGES. THOSE OFFERORS WHO PREVISOUSLY SUBMITTED RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION ELECTRONICALLY ARE REQUESTED TO RESUBMIT BY 07/01/2002. THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED ACKNOWLEDGMENT NEED NOT RESUBMIT. FIRST TIME RESPONSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This is a combines synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The US Forest Service has requirement for handheld land mobile FM analog radios and accessories national contract. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), NAICS code is 421690. Proposals are due by Friday, May 17, 2002. The Government intend to award multiple contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerer whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government.
