- Description
- This project is for the mechanical release and thin of approximately 233 acres of Forest land on the Trinity River Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity County, California. Contractor will perform brush cutting, thinning and related work on Forest Service plantations. A shredding-type machine with capability for lateral and horizontal movement independent from track movement is required. Contract time will be 100 calendar days with an estimated start work date of July 15, 2002. A pre-bid tour has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2002 starting at 9:00 AM at the Weaverville District Office, Highway 299, Weaverville, CA. The solicitation for this project will be available for downloading from this website on June 18, 2002.
