Description
This requirement will be negotiated solely with Raytheon Systems Company, Defense Systems Segment, 9000 South Rita Road, Building 9030, Tucson, Arizona 85757. The effort includes providing input to the Mission Response Ordnance (MRO) Payload Group by providing information concerning the current Tomahawk mechanical and electrical interfaces including: (a) Tomahawk information and computer models, (i) Midbody, (ii) Nose, (iii) Current payload/Castings for the same, (iv) Block III and Block IV wings and doors, (v) Model data of the missile payload and nose sections, (including FEA models, procedures, results, and actual shaker table data, and (vi) Tomahawk barge shock acceleration-time histories; (b) Provide input as an MRO Payload IPT member by providing information regarding the Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) and Aero/Systems studies of small munitions to be carried and r eleased incrementally from the Tactical Tomahawk Missile including: Assessment of concepts that would provide small circular error probable (CEP) values without the aid of Global Positioning System (GPS) or seeker on the kill vehicles, range, trajectory, vertical flight path angle control, geo-location or release point relative inertial frame target coordinates and required integration with the Tomahawk Missile; (c) Provide input as an MRO Payload IPT member by providing information regarding the Fuze/Mission Computer interface of the Tactical Tomahawk Missile including: (i) Power requirements and power quality (noise, dropouts), missile system data relative to GPS, fire pulse source, number KV's to deploy, and (ii) Scope of mission computer reprogramming, scope of communications interface design, adequacy of existing system power supply, and cabling requirements. The peri od of performance is one year. Interested parties other than Raytheon must be able to demonstrate in writing by 10 April 2002, their capability to provide the requested services.
