Description
This is an indefinite quantity contract for miscellaneous repair and alteration projects at various USPS-owned and leased facilities located in the Boston, Connecticut, Maine, Middlesex/Central, and New Hampshire Performance Clusters of the USPS. A map showing the areas is included in the solicitation. The work may include any of the items listed in the "Unit Price Schedule" and/or "Specifications." The contract span is for a one-year period with four one-year renewal options, with a maximum value of $3,000,000 and a minimum of $10,000. Individual work orders must be for at least $500 and not more than $100,000. The successful contractor shall be required to obtain a $200,000 performance bond and a $200,000 payment bond before award is made. A proposal bond is not required for this solicitation. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor qualifications are outlined in Attachment 1 of the solicitation and consist of completing a contractor qualification statement. The qualification statement will be the primary factor in determining contract award. THE USPS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ALL PRICE PROPOSALS DEEMED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER TO BE UNREASONABLY LOW OR NOT ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE. There will be no preproposal conference for this solicitation. Please call Catherine Delasco at (860) 285-7191 for information. Solicitation packages will be available on or about June 4, 2002, and can be purchased with a certified check or money order in the amount of $50.00, made payable to "Disbursing Officer, USPS." The fee is non-refundable. Please send the $50.00 to Catherine Delasco, Northeast Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Rd. North, Windsor CT 06006-0300. The solicitation packages will be mailed out First Class Mail upon receipt of the certified check or money order, with no exceptions.
