- Description
- The Environmental Protection agency has a requirement to provide floor refinishing services in several rooms located in the Andrew W. Briedenbach Environmental Research Laboratory located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The contractor shall refinish and patch the flooring in each of the areas specified in the statement of work with Dex-O-Tex brand floor material consisting of a waterproof membrane followed by Decor Flor finishing following the manufacturer's recommended floor preparation and application procedures. All project work is inside a working research laboratory area and will require dust and dirt control, and careful coordination and planning to reduce downtime to a minimum of zero. Upon completion of the floor refinishing the contractor shall be responsible for final clean up all of the areas affected by the construction. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program.. The work shall be performed in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations governing this construction project. In addition to price, the Government's evaluation of proposals will address each offeror's record of past performance. Price and past performance are approximately equal in importance for purposes of proposal evaluation. A 30-day period of performance is anticipated. The estimated price range is between $50,000 and $75,000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents, which will be available on or about 06/20/02.
